Urban Waters Restoration Grant (National Fish & Wildlife Foundation): The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Urban Waters Restoration Grants. The grant program seek to develop community capacity to sustain local natural resources for future generations by providing modest financial assistance to diverse local partnerships for wetland, forest, riparian and coastal habitat restoration with a particular focus on urban/community waters and watersheds.

Karuk Tribe: Integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge within Natural Resource Management: In 2010, the Karuk Tribe released a draft Eco-Cultural Resources Management Plan to create a long-term adaptation strategy for the protection, enhancement and utilization of cultural and natural resources. The Eco-Cultural Resources Management Plan establishes a framework for considering a wide range of human and environmental stressors to the Karuk Tribe, including climate change.
