Water Conservation position with the State of New Mexico
Job Title: Water Resource Specialist Sr. (OSE #34574)

Salary: $18.35 - $32.63 Hourly, $38,168.00 - $67,870.40 Annually
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Department: Office of the State Engineer
This position will provide technical assistance for the Water Use &
Conservation Bureau's work in the Subdivision Review, 40 year water plans,
development of rules and regulations, the creation of the Water Use by Category
Report, municipal water conservation, and agricultural water consumption
requirements. Incumbent will also respond to requests from the general public
and other agencies for information on water resources of the State of New
Mexico.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's
Degree in Engineering, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Water Resources, or Physical
Science and four (4) years relevant experience. Any combination of education
from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct
experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the
required education and experience.
