Openings for 2 Assistant Education Coordinators
If you enjoy working outdoors and educating visitors about public lands and stewardship, consider spending the summer in the beautiful mountains of New Mexico. The USFS is looking for two enthusiastic college students to join the Respect the Rio Watershed Education and Restoration Program and serve as Assistant Education Coordinators.
These positions will assist with the supervision of the Contact Ranger program and work with the Education Coordinator to develop and present environmental educational materials and programs, oversee the day-to-day assignments of seasonal interpretive interns, and assist with maintenance of dispersed campsites.
Job Series & Grade: GS-1001-4/5
Salary: (DOQ)
GS-4 $13.41/hour
GS-5 $15.00/hour
Duty Station:
Santa Fe National Forest, Jemez Ranger District
Santa Fe National Forest, Pecos Ranger District
Dates of Employment: May – August, 2012
