Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) is hosting informational webinars to Introduce tribal leaders to the Regional Transmission Expansion Planning process, provide an overview of “Environmental Recommendations for Transmission Planning” and the Environmental Data Task Force process, and provide an overview of WECC’s 10-Year Regional Transmission Plan. WECC’s goals for these webinars are to acquaint Tribal leaders and representatives with major transmission planning initiatives that are active in the Western Interconnection and to explore ways that they can collaborate more effectively with Tribes in the West.
