Don't miss the Water Resources Research Center 2012 conference, held in collaboration with the ASU Morrison Institute for Public Policy. The conference will feature keynote speakers Robert Lang, Director of Brookings Mountain West and author/historian Jack August.

The opening session will showcase 3 pivotal reports.
> Grady Gammage, lead author, Morrison Institute’s report, Watering the Sun Corridor, Managing Choices in Arizona’s Megapolitan Area
> David Brown, Chair of the Water Resources Development Commission, overseeing the WRDC Final Report
> Karen Smith, author of the Grand Canyon Institute’s background report, Arizona at the Crossroads: Water Scarcity or Water Sustainability?

Leaders in industry, agriculture, government and the community will offer a variety of perspectives. An interactive session moderated by Grady Gammage will end the day with a lively discussion.

An optional pre-conference workshop, sponsored by the Sonoran Institute and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, on Monday, January 23, 2012 will foster in-depth discussion on the policy options raised in Watering the Sun Corridor.

We look forward to your participation in this timely forum on Arizona’s water future.
