Fire Fair in May
The Sandia Park Scenic Byway Firewise Community is hosting a Fire Fair to help residents prepare for fire season.

This will be May 7th, from 10:30 -12 noon at the Vista Grande Community Center, 15 La Madera Rd, Sandia Park, NM. This is a comprehensive session, with multiple sources of helpful information, from local emergency responder agencies to private groups. Best part of the event: first graders from San Antonito Elementary School will be making a special presentation about helpful fire safety tips. Bring the family - there will be a forestry craft table for the kids. A great way to keep the youngsters engaged while you gather valuable wildfire safety information.
