Are you responsible for the planting, or care of your community trees? Then you should plan on attending. We will look at a community tree master plan, a tree inventory, assess the benefits of urban trees, and quantify the rewards that healthy trees and good management bring to the community. We will review the resources available to help you develop and implement an effective program for your trees.

The workshop will be lead by Bryan Suhr, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, and Ms. Kelly Washburn, Urban and Community Program Manager, NM State Forestry. Kelly is your key to developing an effective community tree program. Also assisting are ISA Certified Arborists, Alan Billau and Adam Barber on the staff at UNM.

Workshops are scheduled for August 1st and 7th 2012 starting at 10:00AM
