REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
For Tree Removal and Remedial Tree Pruning
In Five City of Las Vegas, New Mexico Parks.
Tierra y Montes Soil and Water Conservation District, Las Vegas, New Mexico
Tierra y Montes Soil and Water Conservation District (Tierra y Montes) of Las Vegas, New Mexico has received an Urban Forestry Grant from the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD) for removal and pruning of a limited set of mature trees in five of the City of Las Vegas, New Mexico parks.
The goal of the tree work under this grant is to reduce the risk to the public and property through removal of hazardous trees as well as structural and/or corrective pruning of other trees slated for retention.
Tierra y Montes is seeking qualified tree work contractors to respond to this Request for Proposals (RFP). Any contracted tree work as a result of this RFP will be limited to a value of $20,500.00.

Download the Bidder’s Response Form and Appendices containing photos and locations of the trees which are candidates for removal or pruning. Tierra y Montes anticipates awarding a contract with firm fixed prices per specific trees. Potential bidders are encouraged to visit the sites of the identified candidate trees prior to bidding.
