The Sky Island Alliance and Springs Stewardship Institute have collaboratively developed a user-friendly online Springs Inventory Database, at http://springsdata.org/index.php. This online database offers a user-friendly interface to enter, retrieve, and analyze inventory data, making it accessible for landowners and managing agencies as well as researchers to improve the quality and integration of information about springs. This webinar will provide an introduction to the database -- how to create an account, types of information stored, data entry options, query options, reporting features, search features, current data for projects in the Sky Island Region and more. The webinar is intended to familiarize springs stewards with this powerful tool so you can start exploring and using it.
