Canadian River Riparian Restoration Workgroup
This workgroup is an outgrowth of an ongoing effort by many entities and individuals involved in efforts to protect and restore the Canadian River Watershed. The members of this group are working together to enhance and expand on riparian restoration projects managed through the Canadian River Riparian Restoration Program (CRRRP) in coordination with that Program.
This collaborative workspace was established as a way to coordinate the Workgroup's involvement in projects in the watershed. It allows us to share GIS data and other information that will help our collective efforts to be good stewards of the natural resources in the Canadian River Watershed.
The CRRRP Program, begun in 2004, is headed up by eight Soil and Water Conservation Districts in northeastern New Mexico. The CRRRP program manager is Jack Chatfield.
