Albuquerque Wildlife Federation April service project

Service Project will improve wetlands in Cebolla Canyon south of Grants, NM.

Over the April 20th weekend, join the Albuquerque Wildlife Federation at Cebolla Canyon in the

El Malpais National Conservation Area south of Grants, NM.

Volunteers will plant native wetland species and build structures to aid in restoration of streambeds.

 

Schedule/General Info:

Fri, April 19: meet at campsite; BLM providing porta-potties; dinner on your own.

Sat, April 20: breakfast burritos and coffee/hot beverage station provided by AWF; safety talk and project overview; work on project; lunch on your own; potluck with bison/veggie burgers provided by AWF; campfire/socializing.

Sun, April 21: breakfast on your own (leftovers often available); short work day for those available; leave as you need to.
