Paseo del Norte Watershed Council
The mission of the Paso del Norte Watershed Council (Council) is to investigate, develop, and recommend options for watershed planning and management and to explore how water-related resources can best be balanced to benefit the Rio Grande ecosystem and the interests of all watershed stakeholders. The annual meeting of the Paso del Norte Watershed Council will be held Friday January 18th in Las Cruces, NM. All interested stakeholders are welcome.

Rio Chama TMDL and public meeting
NM Environment Department is inviting the public to comment on the draft “total maximum daily load” (TMDL) document for the Rio Chama Watershed. The 30-day comment period opens February 23, 2011 and will close March 28, 2011. NMED's Surface Water Quality Bureau (SWQB) plans to request approval of the draft final TMDLs at the Water Quality Control Commission meeting on May 10, 2011.

LEGAL NOTICE is hereby given that the New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission’s Utility Operators Certification Advisory Board will convene a meeting on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 beginning at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the reorganization of the Utility Operator Certification Program under the New Mexico Environment Department’s Drinking Water Bureau. The meeting will be held at The New Mexico Environment Department’s District 1 Office, 121 Tijeras Avenue NE, Suite 1000, Albuquerque, NM 87102. The meeting will be in the Sandia Conference Room. Please contact Anne Keller, Utility Operator Certification Program at 505-222-9575 for further information. A copy of the final agenda will be posted on the Utility Operator Certification Program webpage under the “Special Announcements” section 72-hours prior to the meeting (https://www.env.nm.gov/swqb/UOCP/).
